Today my heart is full. I am very grateful for the missionaries who taught me the gospel and baptized my family 12 years ago. I am grateful for their willingness to serve and share the message with my family and teach us with love and kindness. I am grateful that we have a friendship with our missionaries and still talk with them. I am grateful for the service that Spencer Caldwell still gives my family, and how he still teaches us today by setting a wonderful example to us. Thank you Spencer and Paul Hansen for having that desire to teach the gospel and to share it with my family....

I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1988. After reading a pamphlet about the Plan of Salvation, The Articles of Faith and the Book of Mormon, I was baptized. It was truly a blissful time for me. I had been investigating religions for decades, but until I found these references and said many prayers did I know the truth. It is my testimony that Jesus Christ lives and because of his atonement we will all have the opportunity to return to our Father in Heaven and that our families can be together...

I was baptized in 1982. I had been baptized in the Lutheran church as an infant. Because of divorce I moved in with my father and step mother. Her family were Methodists. I went to that church off and on through the years. In 1968, because of waning beliefs, my dad talked me into going to visit a Rabbi in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I believed in Jesus Christ, but was not sure of his divinity though. My dad had been convinced to become a reformed Jew. I asked the Rabbi about Jesus. He indicated that they believed Jesus lived and was as in the New Testament about that time. He said that, Jesus...

Dear Mormon Converts Testify, Good to see your testimonies. As you are probably aware of now things aren’t so easy being LDS sometimes and you all have at one time or another had to re-evaluate your decision you made to be members. I hope and pray for each and every one of you that you will stay strong regardless of what the adversary has put in your path! Remember that in the Book of Mormon there were those that actually partook of the the “fruit” from the Tree of Life (in Lehi’s dream) and then saw those that mocked and pointed their fingers at those that did...

When I was about 10 years old my dad took me to a mormom church. I attended about 2 or 3 months. When I was about 21 years old I met a man (named) Rick Scrivner. He was an LDS man and a house painter like me. I took some lessons but left it. I was into drinking and smoking pot. Maybe that’s why I could not feel the Spirit ? I made Satan very happy. When I was about 31 I was at a local bar and got shot in the face. I died 6 times the doctor said. I ended up in hell, I thought. It was dark with little light. (But then) I saw a bright light come my way. It...

In 8th grade I met my best friend and through her two more friends all who belonged to the Church. Their love, friendship and example helped me to stay on a straight and narrow path as a kid. Through our high school years I would spend week nights with my best friend and attend Seminary with her in the morning, or if I spent weekends with herI would attend church with her on Sunday morning before heading home. I would also attend Stake Youth dances or activities so I had a lot of exposure to the Church growing up. Her mom was called as a Stake Missionary and would “practice” the...
