Hello. My name is Sister Nalani Lana Clements.  I am a convert to the church. I know this is the true church of Jesus Christ on the earth today. I was sixteen when I first met the Elders, and I was not a member of any church. I began to read some chapters in Alma and I really loved what I was reading. I wanted to know more, so I wrote down my questions for the next visit, and guess what? Yeppers, no more visits. I do not know why they didn’t return.  But after a very miraculous event happened to me (I knew there was something that was or had happened to me) I joined the Baptist church....

My conversion story: Never look back I have been inspired to write a church blog, and keep a record of the blessings my life has been given and the changes I have made since I was baptized on February 23rd, 2013. My life will NEVER be the same, and I haven’t regretted a single second of my choice to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I thought telling my conversion story would be a good place to start, although so much has happened, and I will probably explode with blog posts! My name is Stephanie, and this is my story of how I found the Gospel. In July 2012, five days after our wedding, Justin and I moved to Provo so I could attend BYU law. My best friend, Christina, is Mormon and had introduced me to the church nine years before. I had a steady stream of exposure through her and another couple, Bob and Janae, for a few years. A couple weeks in, Justin sent me a text after leaving for...

I grew up Catholic, but I stopped practicing Catholicism after I graduated from grade school. I was actually ignorant of Catholic teachings during my eight years of grade school, as I always thought that they knew that God was three separate and distinct beings. But when I was in the eighth grade, I heard a Catholic priest talk about God being only one who chose whether or not to manifest himself as the Father, the Son, or the Holy Ghost. The priest claimed that God was not three separate and distinct beings who all exist simultaneously and separately. I told him that his position directly...

A year ago everything changed for me. The biggest decision I had made in my life came to a reality on 11/19/2011. I was nervous, anxious and excited. There were so many emotions that went through me I can’t even put them into words. The time came for me to step into the baptismal font and all I felt was peace. I can’t describe how it has changed my life to be a member of the Saviors church and to know that the priesthood has been restored here on earth. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Todd Jackson for having a simple conversation with me that inspired me to want to know more...
